Wasn't too sure at where to put this, but I made this for my little cousin who isn't so little anymore, she's 13! Anyway, I got word that she pitches a softball at 45 mph which is just excellent! :boogie: I made a scan of this first before sending it to her, this is entirely traditional work, done in about an hour to an hour and a half.

Inks and Colored Pencils.

Please no stealing, this is a gift!

Ahh! I love this! I played softball in college and I used to make all these little drawings for my team and they loved them. I'm sure your cousin was soooo happy!

I like the shading a lot. You got the intensity down pat! The pose is really dynamic, but if you made the ball a bit oblong, it would make it look like it's going faster. Just a thought.

But great, great job!! I :heart: it!!!

lol hey thanks, glad you like it. My lil' cousin just got her throwing arm's elbow cracked by a struck baseball and so she's out for this season, but she's got a great run for college, her goal is to become a marine biologist though, but I think the softball can get her a ride through college on scholorships. She's in Austin,TX btw.

Marine biologist? That's great! I'm studying Genetic Biotechnology and I'm in 1 semester right now, you know? :boogie: And yep! Softball has helped me with scholarships too <3 how old is she anyway?

P.S: I live in Monterrey, Nuevo León (Mex ^^) and I'm about... *measuring XD* 6 or 7 hours from Austin =D

she's just turned 12 :P and what a great goal you've set for yourself with that career choice lol, though I don't know where Monterrey is exactly, I have heard of it. lol. Yo habla poquito espanole lol.
